Radiation
Humans are constantly exposed to radiation. We often think of x-rays as being the only, or main, source of radiation but there are many others. X-rays are a huge source and we should take care how many we get in any given year and only as truly necessary.
Where we get radiation
- Soil
- Water, public and well
- Sunlight
- X-rays
- Wearable devices
- Cell phones
- Ultraviolet light radiation
- Smoke detectors
- Microwaves
- Radon in homes (usually in basements)
- Granite countertops
- Glow in the dark clocks
- Airplane travel
- TSA security screening
- Building materials
- Cigarette smoke
- Some food has natural radiation (bananas, carrots, potatoes)
How to prevent radiation
- Limit x-rays
- Install radon removal in basement
- Don’t wear wearable devices, or periodically turn off bluetooth/wifi
- Stay indoors
- Drink bottled or highly filtered water
- Don’t hold phone to ear
- Don’t use a microwave indoors
- Wear N-95 mask
- Wash regularly
- Wear glasses
- Use PEMF mat
- Infrared sauna
- Wear EMF proof clothing
How to rid body of radiation
- Consume seaweed, brown rice, spirulina, and miso soup
- Take a warm shower as soon as possible after exposure
- Consume antioxidant rich diet (lots of fruits and vegetables)
- Get daily movement of 30+ minutes
- Get adequate sleep
- Take Vitamin C, D, and E, selenium
- Consume beets and beet juice
- Use unrefined sea salt
- Take activated charcoal
- Drink green tea
- Other great foods: avocado, broccoli, kale, ginger, coconut oil, lemons, apples, sauerkraut, onions, garlic
